We are currently farming on just over a tenth of an acre of land and we are working hard to expand our garden every year. As first generation farmers, we did not come to the farm with any farm machinery or family owned land – we are truly starting from scratch. This has many challenges, the most pressing being access to financing. However, we are working with what we have, growing modestly each year, and building our customer base through direct marketing.
We farm a variety of vegetables including potatoes, tomatoes, corn, onions, summer and winter squash, beets, peppers, herbs, greens, and more. Our farm strives to create efficiencies through a closed loop system that recycles waste into nutrients, fosters biodiversity, and markets our produce close to home so that the food we grow does not have to travel far before reaching your plate.
Join us on this journey as we transform an abandoned homestead into a thriving farm.
